The stadium
The stadium was built between 1966 and 1968 according to plans by Le Corbusier. Following the death of the architect in 1965, the project was continued by two of his colleagues: André Wogenscky and Fernand Gardien.
The building has an average capacity of 4180 seats, 500 of which are covered by the canopy which was to have covered all of the terraces. The building, which was faithful to its original plan, was awarded Historical Monument status in 1984.
The Swimming pool
Provision having been made for it in the general urban development plan by Le Corbusier in 1958, André Wogenscky was given overall responsibility for its construction between 1969 and 1971. It was restored in 2006, and was registered in the supplementary list of Historical Monuments in 2005.
